Welsh and Pat Ford are passionate cheesemakers driven to create only the most unique cheeses from the highest quality ingredients. They source all of their milk from a single 350 acre dairy farm near the Great Salt Lake, where a herd of Jersey cows turns nutrient rich alfafa into a first class milk perfectly suited to creating richly flavored cheeses. On-premise humidity controlled aging caves, featuring Utah Blue Spruce racks, keep the entire production process close to home. Winner of multiple American Cheese Society Awards.

 

Barely Buzzed

This subtle, nutty cheese is greatly enhanced by a coffee and lavender rub added during the aging process. Beehive utilizes a custom created blend of arabica beans from Colorado Legacy Coffee Company and French lavender; the finished product combines the savoriness of a full bodied cheese with sweet and floral notes.  1st Place 2015 American Cheese Society Winner!
