The goose has long been a traditional part of European holiday meals, beloved for its rich flavor, dark meat, and abundant fat that renders out and can be used to roast vegetables. Our D’Artagnan White Embden geese are raised on a small farm in the Midwest in open barns and small flocks until they are six weeks old. From then on, the birds range free on pasture with access to fresh spring water, natural light, and fresh air. Their diet is corn with added vitamins and minerals.
