Ham I Am! was conceived in 1986 out of a love and passion for good food and a commitment to sell only the very best. Sharon Meehan carted a couple hundred hams from Arkansas in her family's Volkswagen Rabbit and sold them door-to-door, at church bazaars and school fundraisers as a way to put toys under the tree for her four small children. Hams are now received by the containerload as the demand for her hams moved well beyond the family car.
