Danielle Charette is part of the founding team of Fortune Fish & Gourmet, having started with the company at its establishment in 2001. Danielle is the Vice President of Sales and has played a critical role in Fortune's tremendous growth. Charette now manages a team of over thirty salespeople and sales assistants covering Fortune's delivery area of Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri and an additional 30 states through Fortune's Flying Fish Program. Danielle started her seafood career at The Plitt Company and worked to become a top salesperson at The Plitt Company from 1994-2001.
Charette built Fortune's unique, high quality shellfish program and she continues to relentlessly procure new and interesting varieties for our customers. Her dedication to the seafood industry led to her acceptance as a National Fisheries Institute (NFI) Future Leader member, the seafood industry's national trade association.
Charette grew up in West Bloomfield Hills, MI and received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University. Danielle and her husband live in Oak Park with their three children.
